December 2012 Second Saturday VOX Sacramento has a fun show this month. VOX out of the BOX! Artists were given a box to create something with! There are almost 50 artists participating including me, this is a VOX fundraiser, with a silent auction on December 20th. For more information see the attached card!

September 2012 News: Capital Artists' Studio Tour!
I am very pleased to be participating in the Capital Artists' Studio Tour (CAST) for 2012. The Center for Contemporary Art, Sacramento or CCAS, sponsors the tour. There are 150 artists participating Sacramento wide, 2 weekends this year. September 8 and 9, or September 15 and 16 depending on the area of the artist studio. My studio, Rose Brush Studio, 1818 11th Street, is in downtown Sacramento so I will be on the tour Saturday September 8 from 10am to 5pm, extended for Second Saturday time I will be there until 9pm, and Sunday September 9 , 10am to 5pm! Very exciting. Maps for the tour will be available very soon. More information to come!

"To Write Love" a Second Saturday Art and Poetry event benefiting To Write Love on her arms; a non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury and suicide. TWLOHA exists to encourage, inform, inspire and also to invest directly into treatment and recovery.
I am very happy to be a part of the Sac Open Studios tour for 2014! 125 plus Sacramento area artists are opening their studios for 2 weekends in September. I am on the first weekend tour, September 13 from 10am until 9pm and September 14 from 10am to 5pm! My Venice Laundry piece was accepted for the KVIE Art Auction in September! I am very happy and honored to be part of this event. 3 days 24 hours a day of art, all auction to help raise funds for our Sacramento valley PBS station. My piece will be auctioned on September 24th between 10 and 10:30pm. As soon as they have the auction online, but here is a link to KVIE for more info.
I was very happy, my Venice Laundry piece sold for $375!! I am please it was enjoyed and that I could help KVIE!!!

I am showing some of my "flowers" and a couple of other pieces this month at the Marco Fuoco Gallery along with some fantastic artists. Live music will be provided by the young and talented Tyson Graf! Should be fun, come on out!!!

April Second Saturday two shows...
I am participating in 2 art shows for April. The first is a "Spring Flowers" show at the Kennedy Gallery Art Center at 1114 20th Street, Sacramento. I submitted 2 flower paintings for this one. I do not have a flyer or card for this show, yet.
And also, I am showing some of my street scenes at the Marco Fuoco Gallery including my newest street scene, "Haight Ashbury" which was used on the e-card! Here it is...

100% of the proceeds go to benefit C.A.R.E.S. the Center for AIDS Research Education and Support, and the Matthew Sheppard Foundation.

For June I am participating with several other Swell Sisters in the Alley Arts Festival. It is a one day only show/festival. Outdoors, and there will be a live band...
